Election & Function of the Owners Corporation Committee

The Owners corporation Act 2006 states that an owners corporation affecting thirteen (13) or more Lots must elect a committee at each Annual General Meeting.

A Committee must have at least three (3) and not more than twelve (12) members, who are either Lot owners of hold proxies for Lot owners. There must not be more than one Committee member from any one Lot.

Once elected, the Committee, subject to the rules of the owners corporation, has all powers and functions that are delegated to it by or under section 11 of the Owners Corporation Act 2006.
