What does Common Property mean?


Common Property
“Common property means land shown as common property on a plan of subdivision or a plan of strata or cluster subdivision;” this could include gardens, walls/fences, stairwells, pathways, driveways, lifts, and foyers.

What does the term “Lots” refer to?
The plan of subdivision shows the allotments of land that can be sold separately. These are called ‘lots’. Lot owners are the members of the owners corporation for the subdivision. It is possible for more than one owners corporation can be created in a subdivision of land or buildings, in this case sometimes owners can be members of one or more owners corporations at their building.
